Our mission is to reduce human suffering caused by natural disasters, humanitarian crises, and poverty in the United States and globally by providing urgent support such as food, clean water, shelter, medical aid, and essential supplies, while strengthening long term recovery and community resilience. We prioritize children and young people by supporting their well being through education, psychosocial care, and community based programs, and we work to ensure equitable access to education for girls and boys in disaster affected and underserved communities through schools, learning spaces, educational materials, and digital literacy initiatives.
We focus our work on underserved villages and rural areas. By prioritizing communities that are often the hardest to reach, we deliver direct assistance including food, ration support, and livelihood assets to ensure help reaches families most affected by disaster, poverty, and social vulnerability.
We provided humanitarian assistance to more than 14,000 flood affected people across 13 villages in Punjab, including 8 villages in District Chiniot serving over 8,000 people and 5 villages in District Jhang serving over 6,000 people.
Our teams worked directly in flood affected and hard to reach communities to deliver food, ration packs, and essential relief to families who were most impacted and often accessible only by foot. With the support of local volunteers and partner organizations, we distributed over 100 tons of relief supplies, including food and basic necessities.
We also organized free medical camps, providing medicines, health checkups, and primary care services to more than 1,000 people, with a particular focus on women, children, and elderly community members. Flood affected women were consulted directly to assess household needs, living conditions, and recovery priorities.
Through community based relief and recovery efforts, including coordination with trusted local volunteers, we supported both immediate relief and early recovery.
At Nasreen Dad Trust, we are committed to supporting communities in rural Punjab during times of crisis. In the wake of devastating floods, our dedicated teams are on the ground, providing essential aid to those affected.
